Exterior design
The Nauta Design Cabinet has worked on proportions and circulations to create an authentic outdoor, structured and fluid living space.
Afta, two configurations transform life on board:
In open version, the platform becomes a natural extension of the bathtub. The sea is invited on board.
In a closed version, back seats provide security in the space and allow more guests to be welcomed. This configuration creates a new living space in the bathtub, especially during navigation, by adding seats near the helmsman.

Government posts benefit from innovations introduced in the Oceanis 47 and Oceanis 52 models: integrated seats and backs, ergonomic consoles that group all the commands and a motor lever integrated directly into the console. Every maneuver is intuitive, every adjustment is instinctive.
Interior Design
Natural light guides the gaze. The spaces are wide. The atmosphere is elegant, contemporary and refined.
The interior upholstery is Premium range, with three different atmospheres: “Ivory”, sober and classic; “Sunset”, very cozy; and “Pacific”, refreshing and timeless.
Always guided by attention to detail, the sand oak finishes bring softness and modernity. The 2mm thick wooden chants reinforce the tactile sensation of quality and luxury. Every detail is taken care of to offer an exclusive and lasting atmosphere.
The living room is spacious, bright and designed to invite. In front of the, a real desk structures the owner’s space. We have also integrated a shelf in the septum of the foot of the mast, as well as a piece of furniture at the foot of the descent staircase that groups together all the electrical controls of the ship, for a clear and rational organization of the systems on board.

Design
Oceanis 42 redefines the modern 40-foot sailboat and consolidates itself as a benchmark: safe, welcoming and intelligent.
An unprecedented modularity
The Oceanis 42 is the only 40-foot market with five internal distribution versions.
It is also the only one to offer two different interior distributions: one version with L-shaped kitchen and another with longitudinal kitchen equipped with a large cooking plate.
High performance and control, signed by Lombard
To further enhance sailing performance, we have increased the velic surface: the standard roller mast is now 60 cm higher, while classic and high-performance masts gain 30 cm each. This evolution allows us to provide more power, without compromising accessibility and control.
An authentic seafood cuisine
At the foot of the downhill staircase, the L kitchen stands out for its maritime character. Stable with scum and safe during navigation, it remains connected with the bathtub.
With 215 litres of refrigeration capacity, it offers the largest volume of cooling in the 40-foot segment.

On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the Oceanis range reaffirms its commitment to the French “savoir-faire”, its brand of identity since its creation. This new model is in line with this commitment, driven by the experience of our teams and by a manufacturing based on French labour.
