To improve maneuverability we replaced the steering wheels with a rudder, added a non-slip foam lining on the bottom of the cockpit and lightened this version by 400 kg. We have also perfected the hull, reducing the wetted surface by almost 3 m². The result is without a doubt the fastest and most exciting 36-foot production sailboat currently on the market.
LIFE ON BOARD
With its three cabins, saloon and spacious living areas, the First 36 SE retains the same layout as the First 36, but with optimizations for racing. Every detail has been designed for sailors who prioritize speed and competition, without sacrificing comfort on board.
Key improvements include a carbon fiber gangway, carbon stowage replacing traditional wood, and removable fabric wardrobes in place of wooden furniture. Anti-sway fabric ensures a safe sleep under sail, while optimized storage and other smart innovations provide the perfect balance between efficiency and functionality.
